I'm a German mathematician and programmer residing in Munich/Germany. I started Python programming in 1999 with version 1.5.2. Today a couple of my Python projects are publicly available ranging from recipes like TCO decorators in Python/Cython over medium sized libraries like generator_tools or Jynx for Jython to language oriented programming frameworks such as EasyExtend and its successor Langscape - an ongoing effort to develop a clean and sophisticated programming language analysis and transformation toolkit for the masses.

There seems to be a common pattern of approaching Python from its borders rather than from its core. It's not I would intend to change it though, not a stroke.
