I work as Senior software engineer at Sistemi Software Integrati, a Finmeccanica company, which produces software for military, industry and space research. I worked in this company for most of my career (20+ years). The software we produce is mostly C++, Ada and Java. I use Python whenever is possible for side-jobs like document generation, code generation and test drivers.
